ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Our residential home is designed for people who are fairly mobile and who wish to maintain their independence as far as possible.
We aim to involve you in the day-to-day running of the home if you wish – you can help out with dusting, preparing food, washing up etc, only as much as you want or feel able to.
You’ll get frequent opportunities to put forward your own ideas for changes or improvements in the way we do things, either in our regular monthly residents’ meeting or in occasional informal ones.
This is your home and we work hard to help you feel at home. You can expect:

Doctor
Keep your own local GP if you wish.

Chiropody
An NHS Chiropodist visits every 6 – 8 weeks and this service is free of charge. We can arrange private chiropody for you if you wish.

Hairdressing
A hairdresser visits every Friday afternoon and we can arrange an appointment for you, or you can keep your own hairdresser if you prefer.

Optician and Dentist
We’ll arrange your appointments, or a visit to the home if you can’t get there.

Church Service
Local clergy from various religious denominations visit us regularly. Let us know your beliefs and we’ll try to get an appropriate minister to visit you.
